Sculpture like dance - the art of letting oneself fall in space without occupying it.

Angela Murr (born in Stuttgart, grew up in Kehl/Strasbourg) is a media and conceptual artist and sculptor who began exploring technological innovations during her studies of architecture (Edinburgh College of Art), visual arts (Stuttgart Art Academy) and film (Baden-Württemberg Film Academy) in order to invent new formats for her site-specific works. The generative work unnamed tree ∞/∞ was also created during this time.
Lines and structures from nature are Angela's source material: they can be artificial, geometrically condensed or freely organically curved. She has been developing line sculptures since 2011, which she designs using digital tools.
2013-2017, she directed ZKIS and was responsible for the School Art Program of the state of Baden-Württemberg and for the Drawing and Image-Material-Object editions, among others.
2022-2024 Angela researches at the Di.ge.LL and teaches at the Freiburg University of Education. Her topic is digital drawing/design in augmented reality space.
In 2023, she founded the start-up AugmentdCampus with Mark F. Siller. Since then, she has been developing and researching the dARwing application, which uses gestures and physical movement to spatially draw signs that can be viewed as virtual sculptures at their place of origin. she develops, tests and researches new applications for art and teaching.
