Unnamed Tree ∞/∞
1999 - 2021
Launched in 1997, Unnamed Tree ∞/∞ is a generative artistic work in progress visualizing biological or also sociological processes of growth in an artistic-aesthetic way.
Becoming, passing, and re-emergence are intrinsically and simultaneously explored as a subject leading to a never-ending new perception of the space which was used.
The idea of the Unnamed Trees was inspired by the term "Rhizome" by Deleuze/ Guattari (1977) and Howard Hull's treatise "An unnamed tree" (1981).
By now, the concept of Unnamed Trees has been realized in many physical and digital formats.
